The Broncos will debut their 1977 throwback jerseys.

The Denver Broncos will debut their 1977 throwback uniforms during their Week 5 game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Empower Field at Mile High. These throwbacks honor the Orange Crush era, particularly the 1977 season, when the team made its first Super Bowl appearance. The orange jerseys feature large white numbers outlined in Legacy Blue, paired with pants that have an orange and blue stripe down the side. The helmet showcases the popular “D” logo on a Legacy Blue shell, with a white facemask and an orange stripe down the middle. Completing the look are orange-and-blue striped socks.

The Broncos’ game against the Raiders is a fitting occasion to debut the throwback jerseys, as Denver defeated the Raiders in the 1977 AFC Championship Game to secure their spot in Super Bowl XII.

 

On Sunday, the Broncos will also induct Steve Foley and Riley Odoms into the Ring of Fame, while celebrating Randy Gradishar’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Additionally, the team will pay tribute to their 1977 .
