Anthony Richardson injury update: Report outlines the likelihood of Colts QB playing against the Jaguars.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson received positive news regarding the injury he sustained against the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Richardson is listed as day-to-day with oblique and abdominal strains, giving him a chance to play in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen addressed concerns about injuries, saying, “Injuries happen in football. You don’t want them to, but they do. Thankfully, this wasn’t a major injury. We’ll monitor his progress throughout the week and take it from there,” via Joel A. Erickson of the *Indianapolis Star*.

Anthony Richardson sustained the injury following a hit during a 14-yard run in the first quarter. He briefly stayed on the sidelines for two plays before returning to the field. However, after taking another hit on a run, Richardson exited the game and did not return. Joe Flacco stepped in and led the Colts to a 27-24 victory over the Steelers.
