Roger Grimau is set to take over as head coach of Dinamo Bucharest after agreeing to a three-year contract that will make him the highest-paid coach in the Romanian league, with an estimated salary of €700,000.

Although the move has yet to be officially announced, BasketNews sources have confirmed the deal, marking a major shift for the club.

Grimau previously spent just one season at Barcelona before being replaced by Joan Pennaroya last summer.

Now, as he embarks on a new chapter in his coaching career, he will lead Dinamo Bucharest, a club with a rich history, boasting 22 Romanian championship titles.
