At 32 years old and entering his 10th NFL season, Mosley understands his body well. The Jets would be wise to respect his decision if he feels unfit to play. Rushing him back could be a costly mistake, especially with crucial games against undefeated teams in the coming weeks.
In 2023, Mosley recorded 152 tackles, five tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles. Beyond the stats, his leadership and positioning on the field are irreplaceable, even though Sherwood has performed admirably in his absence.
