However, Aaron Rodgers feels differently.
The former New York Jets (2-1) quarterback will return to MetLife Stadium as an opposing player for the first time on Sunday. Wilson, a former first-round Jets pick, was traded to the Denver Broncos this offseason.
Although Wilson isn’t expected to start, the reception he receives could be interesting.
As for Rodgers, he’ll be met with plenty of love.
Rodgers mentioned he still keeps in touch with Wilson, referring to him earlier this week as someone he sees as his “little brother.”
“I enjoyed our time together, both on and off the field,” Rodgers said. “Hopefully, he gets another chance in the future.”
