LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In their first ACC matchup of the season against Georgia Tech, the Louisville football team managed to secure a hard-fought 31-19 victory at L&N Stadium, overcoming various errors and making plays in all three phases of the game.
Returning from a bye week, the No. 19/20 Cardinals (3-0, 1-0 ACC) did not appear flawless against the Yellow Jackets (3-2, 0-2 ACC), as they were out-gained 410 to 326 in total yardage, committed seven penalties, and converted only 2 of 9 on third downs.
