NFL Week 4 Power Rankings: Bills emerge as the top team in football, claiming the number one spot.
The Buffalo Bills have been consistently strong during the Sean McDermott and Josh Allen era. With five consecutive playoff appearances, four straight division titles, and two 13-win seasons, their success is impressive.
Despite concerns in the offseason about their Super Bowl window closing, this might be the best Bills team of the era.
They’ve dominated through the first three weeks. After a slow start in Week 1, they pulled away from the Arizona Cardinals and then blew out both the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars. Between the second half of Week 1 and halftime of Week 3, the Bills outscored opponents 89-24, with the Jaguars trailing 34-3 at halftime. Allen had a stellar first half with 247 yards and four touchdowns, playing at an extraordinary level.
Although they could face challenges in the playoffs—especially with Patrick Mahomes’ postseason brilliance—right now, Buffalo deserves to be ranked No. 1 in the latest power rankings.
Here are the rankings after Week 3 of the NFL regular season.
