Greg Biffle, a former NASCAR driver, began his career in stock car racing in the late 1990s and stepped away from full-time Cup Series competition in 2016. The Washington native made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 1996, claimed his first championship in the Truck Series in 2000, and followed it with an Xfinity Series championship in 2002.
Biffle, who spent most of his career with Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing (formerly Roush Fenway Racing), parted ways with the team in 2016 after finishing 23rd in the standings and sat out the 2017 season entirely. Over his 16 years in the Cup Series, he secured 19 wins, earned 113 pole positions, and achieved 175 top-10 finishes. Despite stepping away from full-time competition, Biffle never formally announced his retirement and occasionally returns to racing.
In 2019, he won a Truck Series race with Kyle Busch Motorsports and competed in five Cup Series events in 2022. That year, he drove the No. 44 car for the NY Racing Team in the Daytona 500 and participated in additional races in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Richmond, and Talladega. In 2024, reports indicated that Biffle opted not to race due to contract issues, with J.J. Yeley stepping in as his replacement.
