A Fully Funded Program
The fellowship is entirely free. All costs associated with visas, transportation, and accommodation for compulsory out-of-country events are covered by the foundation. While assistance is provided for visa procurement for optional events, the fellows are expected to bear any related costs.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to Aspiring Cybersecurity Professionals
- To be eligible for the CyberGirls Fellowship, applicants must:
- Be female, aged 18-28, as of March 25,
2024. - Hold citizenship and reside in an African country, with a keen interest in
cybersecurity. - Possess proficiency in English and have completed high school/secondary school.
- Be capable of handling the rigours of an intensive technical training program.
- Have consistent internet access and commit fully to 8 months of intensive training.
- Not currently work in cybersecurity or hold a major cybersecurity certification.
- Not be engaged in any similar tech
fellowship or boot camp during the program period.
