Custom Officers who joined the Custom Service using SSCE certificate are given the rank of Custom Assistant and are paid ₦398,506 – ₦450,321 Annually.
Those who joined the Custom Service using National Diploma or NCE certificate are given the rank of Assistant Inspector Of Custom or Inspector of Custom and they are paid between ₦457,358 – ₦594,484.
Those who used BSC or HND to join the Nigeria Custom Service will graduate with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II and are paid about ₦878,956 – ₦1,008,991 Annually.
